		Louise Gordon is the Vice President of Operations for American Mechanical. She began as the part-time bookkeeper and her position has evolved over the years into an important part of the operation. Now in her 11th year, she has worked side by side with the President on all issues especially customer service. Says Louise, “American Mechanical aims to provide quality work in the mechanical field. We want our customers to feel that they are truly important to us and not just a "sale". We want them to feel whenever they call us we will respond to their needs. This Company provides job security to its employees which in turn builds loyalty. That loyalty spills over into our great customer service. Outlook: We strive to grow and expand our customer base. Once a customer calls one time we want them to be a customer for life. By offering all the mechanical trades, homeowners and property managers only have to deal with one company. We want to be that company!


		Lewis Smith is the Manager for the HVAC team. Lewis Smith grew up in California and lived in Las Vegas. He started in the HVAC industry in the west where they use “swamp coolers” to put moisture in the air instead of removing like we do here in Virginia. Lewis is an Army veteran and served in Desert Storm. After his discharge from the army, Lewis settled in the Tidewater area. He has 22 years experience in the HVAC industry. He is NATE certified, is a Qualified Gas Contractor, holds a CFC card, is a RSES certified heat pump installer and is factory certified by Rinnai to repair and install tankless water heaters. When he is not working (rarely) he enjoys riding his motorcycle (why he limps when he walks) and four wheeling. Lewis feels one of his main strengths is problem solving. Fixing the systems that others can’t.
